Anna McCortney
Operations Manager

Anna is the heart behind Ultimate Flooring. As the 2025 Employer of the Year for Jobs for Ohio Graduates, she’s passionate about mentoring youth, empowering her team, and building a business rooted in community values. Anna is currently furthering her expertise by attending interior design school—funded through a prestigious scholarship awarded by Women in the Floor Covering Industry (WIFI). With hands-on certification as a CFI Technical Installer in both Luxury Vinyl Plank and Carpet, Anna blends operational excellence with a trained design eye to ensure every project is executed with style, integrity, and precision.

Sam Robinson
Sales & Showroom Coordinator

Sam brings a sharp eye for detail, technical skill, and a refreshing energy to every flooring project. As a certified CFI Technical Installer for LVP and Carpet, she understands both the product and the process from start to finish. Sam works closely with customers, contractors, and our installation team to ensure seamless execution and top-tier results.

A proud graduate of the Jobs for Ohio’s Graduates (JOG) program, Sam is passionate about giving back to the organization that helped launch her own career. She now plays a key role in mentoring students, helping bridge the gap between today’s youth and the trades. Her lived experience, creative insight, and approachable style make her a trusted go-to for both residential and commercial clients—as well as a powerful advocate for the next generation of skilled professionals.

It’s Athena! I’m a recent graduate from Akron Career Tech High School where I focused on music production and developed a passion for creativity and hands-on work as an artist. I’m currently working with Ultimate Flooring through the Jobs for Ohio Graduates (JOG) program building my skills and exploring new career opportunities. While I’m new to the flooring industry, I’m excited to learn from the experienced team here and contribute with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.

Before joining Ultimate Flooring, Mike spent many years as a financial advisor, which gave him a strong background in organization, planning, and customer service. At the store, he now focuses on scheduling and coordinating projects to keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes. Customers and installers know they can count on Mike to keep timelines on track and details in order, ensuring every job starts and finishes as planned.

Measure Specialist

With decades of flooring experience, Joe brings both knowledge and precision to every project. A former installer, he now specializes in in-home measurements, carefully reviewing layouts to make sure everything is accurate before an order moves forward. Customers appreciate his thoroughness and approachable nature, knowing their project is in capable hands from the very beginning.
